Oh my goodness y’all. I had quite a time trying to get liners to fit the envelopes in my Gold Foil Dot on Kraft Invitation Kit from Michael’s and Gartner Studios. I searched and searched for a DIY Envelope Liner Template that would work but I couldn’t find one. These weren’t standard envelopes – they have a weird slope on them. I tried A9 liners and A7 liners but they didn’t quite fit because these envelopes sloped up in a weird way.
So what’s a crafty girl to do?? Create her own of course! I busted out my ruler and Adobe Illustrator and got to work. This isn’t perfect – the weird angle doesn’t match up but it was good enough for me. So I thought I’d share it with y’all! Here’s the DIY Envelope Liner Template for you to do your own Envelope Liner DIY! There is a .svg for people that have cutting machines (I love my Cricut) and a pdf version for those that don’t. Both are fit to an 8.5 x 11″ sheet of paper.

DIY Envelope Liner Template How to Use
To use the DIY Envelope Liner Template print and cut the liner. Then, slide it in the envelope and glue the top down using a glue stick. I only glue the top so that the bottom can slide as needed. Here’s how it turned out!
We’d love to hear if you used this! Let us know in the comments!
