It’s party time!!!! Bachelorette party time to be specific!! We are going to do some chair dancing so I thought I’d made these adorable hair tie Bachelorette Party Favors for everyone! I kept seeing them on Etsy but I wanted something specific to my party. It was so easy that my Maid of Honor can’t even be mad at me for making party favors for my own party!

To Make the Card

I made the card on my Cricut Explore. The font is Jenna Sue. It’s free! I made the design using the shapes, a scalloped edge, and a lot of slicing. The corsets are from in Design Studio – I did a search for corset. Here’s a link to the project if you want it: https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/30430667

I printed it on 110 lb cardstock so it would be really nice and sturdy. Then I cut it. I had to play around with the settings to get it right and I ended up using a setting that was around 310 pressure and 2x cuts. You’ll probably need to experiment. I also switched to a new blade because those little circles ended up a mess before I did that.

You can do something similar or simply make a template using Word or Google docs, print it and cut into rectangles. Here are some saying ideas for you:

  • Last Fling Before the Ring
  • Tie Up & Throw Down
  • To Have and To Hold Your Hair Back
  • Kissing the Single Life Goodbye
  • Last Sail Before the Veil (this would be cute with anchor hair ties!)

To Make the Hair Ties for the DIY Bachelorette Party Favors

Get some 5/8″ fold over elastic in different colors. My wedding colors are gold and navy so I grabbed those colors. I got all my elastic from a couple of different Etsy stores for about $15 total for 30 favors. The printed stuff is a little more expensive but so cute I had to!

Take your elastic and cut 9 inch pieces. Match up the ends and then tie a knot in one end. Trim the ends if necessary. It’s really that easy.

That’s it for these easy DIY Bachelorette Party Favors! Go make some! The girls LOVED them!!!
