This super adorable DIY sweatshirt took me about 10 minutes to make.
As I often do, I find myself shopping online. I’m sure you never do that! 😉 On one of my favorite sites, ModCloth, I saw this super cute sweatshirt for $49.99. Ummm…. love the shirt, hate the price tag. It was also a little too floral for my tastes.
How I Made My DIY Sweatshirt
So, I headed over to Amazon where I found this sweatshirt for $20 & free shipping (affiliate linked image). If you wanted to grab an even less expensive sweatshirt, Walmart has them for around $5.
When it came today, I threw it in the wash and then busted out my handy, dandy Cricut Explore and got to work making my DIY Sweatshirt. I created a quick image in Illustrator using a font called Channel. It’s free for personal use and here’s the SVG file for you to use if you like!
I use Cricut’s black glitter iron on vinyl. Before cutting, I smoothed out my vinyl using a credit card.
Then I reversed the image and cut it on Cricut’s black glitter iron on vinyl, weeded it, and ironed it on according to the instructions.
I just love how it turned otu!
This was a super easy DIY and would make a great gift!! What do you guys think of this Hello sweatshirt??
